In Tune Remixes, Vol. 01

Lex Luca

In Tune
INTUNE006 | 2018-11-09
Celebrating its one-year anniversary, Lex Luca's In Tune drops a trio of remixes of catalogue tracks from New Jersey house legend Harry Romero, newcomer Felipe Fella and Lex Luca himself.

From the rolling piano house of 'Call Me' to the tech-edged main-room stomp of 'Yeah Yeah', Lex Luca's In Tune has - over the course of six stand-out releases - established itself as an impressive outlet for Luca's varied productions, with regular support from the likes of Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Joseph Capriati, Disclosure, Shiba San, Solardo, Richy Ahmed and Danny Howard.

To celebrate an exceptional first year, In Tune Remixes Vol.1 features three impressive reworkings of some of the label's most successful tracks.

First up, Harry Romero drops his version of 'Control Ya'. A deep, rolling, techy workout with the kind of melodic flourishes you'd expect from a producer of his stature, his remix has already found solid support from Danny Howard at Radio 1, and looks set to be a landmark release for the label.

Lex Luca reworks 'High Fashion' for the terraces, transforming it into a brooding tech cut with a deeply menacing atmosphere and barely releases tension. Completing the package, rising Brazilian star Felipe Fella's bass-heavy version of 'Call Me' pairs a chunky bassline with scything synths and clattering percussion. One for the basements, it rounds off yet another impressive release for In Tune.
